Communication challenges impact children's ability to access learning opportunities, create and maintain meaningful social relationships, and have detrimental effects on their confidence, mental health and wellbeing.

Research indicates that for children with communication difficulties, parents are just as effective at helping children as their speech therapist! Early child educators and teachers also play a vital role in identifying and supporting children with communication needs. Despite this, there is often limited training for those supporting children with speech, language and communication difficulties.
